A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
Hello! I'm originally from Argentina where I began my journey in Occupational Therapy. Currently, I am advancing my expertise through a Post-Professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate from Missouri University. My career has taken me across the globe, including stops in New Zealand, the USA, Japan, and now Australia, allowing me to blend my passion for occupational therapy with animal-assisted services.
As a fully certified Occupational Therapist with a diploma in Ayres Sensory Integration, I have a diverse range of experience. I've worked with children mainly those with diagnosed ADHD and Autism, and adults with psychosocial and phyisical disabilities, and have provided expert recommendations for assistive technologies and home modifications for the elderly, working within frameworks like NDIS and Aged Care. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practice, ensuring that each intervention is tailored to meet the unique needs of my clients.
In addition to my professional endeavours, I am actively involved in puppy raising for Western Australia Assistance and Therapy Dogs and enjoy dog training. When I'm not working or volunteering, I'm likely immersed in my latest book or study, continually seeking to expand my knowledge and skills.
